Youngstown man leads authorities on chase, rams police cruiser

A chase that led law enforcement through two counties landed a Youngstown man in jail. Scarecrows come to life through mind of local girl, leads her to author book series

Two men have been charged in Carroll County Municipal Court for the theft of a motor vehicle taken Aug. 9 from a lot at 1040 Canton Rd., Carrollton.   Timothy D. The Carroll County Regional Planning Commission is accepting applications for citizen members. There are three open seats, which offer three-year terms. There is no remuneration for serving on the commission.  The group meets quarterly on the third Tuesday of January, May, August, and November at 6:30 p.m. in the village of Carrollton Municipal Building. West Virginia man’s death ruled accidental

The death of a West Virginia man working in the oil and gas industry has been ruled accidental.  Carroll County Sheriff Dale Williams said Steven R. Young golf team claims third league title

A young Carrollton golf team won its third consecutive Eastern Buckeye Conference (EBC) championship Sept. 20 at Salem Country Club and finished first in the final standings. The team, comprised of all juniors, sophomores and freshmen, also completed its second consecutive undefeated season last week.
