Carrollton golfer Jaxon Rinkes pitches the ball to the green during a match at Carroll Meadows.

Alliance golfer Blake Hood shot an even par 35 at Carroll Meadows Golf Course, but his effort wasn’t enough to lead to Aviators to a win over the undefeated Carrollton Warriors Sept. 8

Carrollton junior Jaxon Rinkes kept pace with Hood, firing a 36, however, it was the effort of the Warriors’ second, third and fourth men that helped them earn a 161-217 Eastern Buckeye Conference victory. Junior Cayden Rininger was one stroke behind Rinkes with a 37, followed by juniors Colton Moore 42, and Micah Barkan, 46.

Rounding out the scoring for the visitors were Brennan Bell 47, Dylan Nastari 64 and Evan Winans 71.
