Who will wear the crown? CHS queen candidates announced

Candidates for the Carrollton High School fall homecoming queen are shown above. They are (from left) Makayla Ball, Josie Burgett, Grace Leslie, Allison Stackhouse and Maya Keyser.

Five members of the 2022 Carrollton High School senior class are vying for the title of Homecoming Queen. The queen will be crowned by last year’s queen, Cailyn Bright, prior to the Carrollton vs. Alliance football game, slated to begin at 7 p.m.

The candidates will also participate in the annual CHS fall homecoming parade Sept. 22. Lineup begins at 6:30. The parade will proceed from Industrial Dr. to SR 332, travel north to the village, around Public Square and return to the high school where a bonfire/pep rally will take place/

Candidates include: 

* Makayla Ball, daughter of Shane and Angela Ball of Carrollton;

* Josie Burgett, daughter of Phillip and Jody Burgett of Carrollton;

* Maya Keyser, daughter of Mike and Dana Keyser of Carrollton;

* Grace Leslie, daughter of Matt and Renee Leslie of Kensington;

* Allison Stackhouse, daughter of Randy and Kelly Stackhouse of Carrollton.
