The State Route 151 bridge in Bowerston is officially open after being closed since May 2023. The closure was due to replacing a bridge between State Route 212 and Main Street. All restrictions and barricades have been removed, and the bridge is officially open to traffic.
The Carrollton High School and Middle School Performing Arts Department held its annual awards banquet on April 29 to celebrate their 2023-2024 season. Chestnut acquired the full-service salon and spa on March 1 and plans for a grand opening on May 11. “I have done hair since 2007 and my son graduated high school last year, so this was something I always wanted to do,” said Chestnut.
