SR 151 open in Bowerston

The State Route 151 bridge in Bowerston is officially open after being closed since May 2023. The closure was due to replacing a bridge between State Route 212 and Main Street. All restrictions and barricades have been removed, and the bridge is officially open to traffic.

Rockets with fourth OVAC softball title

Conotton Valley won its fourth consecutive Ohio Valley Athletic Conference softball title with an 8-2 victory over the Weirton Madonna Blue Dons April 27.  Madi Kelley went 3-4 at the plate with a solo home run to left field and two singles.   Masy Baker struck out 15 batters, giving up two hits, tworuns, and 1 walk. Warriors sweep series with Lions with shut out, come from behind wins

Hair Gallery has new look, new ownership
