The Carrollton High School and Middle School Performing Arts Department held its annual awards banquet on April 29 to celebrate their 2023-2024 season. 
Award winners were nominated and voted on by their peers. 
Oscar Awards followed by the performance and the character they played are as follows:
Best Actors: Jozelynn Nitz  (“Mean Girls”, Regina George and “Frozen”, Olaf/Young Elsa), Victor Zacapala Diaz (“Shrek”, Donkey).
Best Supporting Actors: Rylee Champion (“Mean Girls”, Ms. Norbury), Mya Ruggieri (“Shrek”, Pinocchio), Grayson Moore (“Frozen”, Wandering Oaken)
Best Production Team: Allie Huffman (“Mean Girls”), Lydia Oboy & Parker Lee (“Shrek”), Mackenzie Rummell (“Frozen”)
Best Student Director: Alexis Spears (“Shrek”)
