Volunteer Fire Department was called to a structure fire Aug. 14 at 6:05 a.m. A two-story wood frame 30×30-foot vacant home was fully engulfed when firefighters arrived at 5156 Norco Rd., Carrollton. Warrior golfers start strong, remain perfect on season

Carrollton topped Salem 194 – 216 on the par 36 Spring Valley course in Eastern Buckeye girls golf action last week. Senior Erin Shockey led the winners with a 44. Madi Bittaker fired a 48; Ashley Garner 49; and Pheobe Moore 53.  Kruger led the Lady Wildcats with a 49.
