Alumni Foundation awards 18 classroom grants

 The Carrollton School Alumni Foundation (CSAF) recently presented a check for $8,857.81 to Carrollton Schools Treasurer Amy Spears and Superintendent Dave Davis for classroom grants.  Because of generous donations in 2024, all 27 teachers who applied received at least part of the money they requested for their special learning projects to enhance their curriculum.  There were 18 elementary teachers, two middle school teachers and seven high school teachers who received the

Wrestlers dominate field at Lake Duals

Carrollton opened the new wresting season by completing the sweep at the Lake Duals Dec. 7. The newly formed Carroll County Parkinson’s Support Group is a local group for anyone with Parkinson’s Disease and their partners. The group meets 10-11 a.m. on the first and third Tuesday of each month at Cleveland Clinic/Mercy Hospital Carrollton Therapy Center, 1001 Canton Rd. Option signed with energy company for Commerce Park acreage
