The Carrollton School Alumni Foundation (CSAF) recently presented a check for $8,857.81 to Carrollton Schools Treasurer Amy Spears and Superintendent Dave Davis for classroom grants.

Because of generous donations in 2024, all 27 teachers who applied received at least part of the money they requested for their special learning projects to enhance their curriculum.  There were 18 elementary teachers, two middle school teachers and seven high school teachers who received the grants. Susan Cogan, alumni president, presented the check.

Other ways the CSAF helps the school district is by providing money to help 6th grade students attend Nature’s Classroom, helping middle school students going on the Washington, D.C. or Gettysburg trips, and helping with the Backpack and Cares programs.

It is through memberships, donations and endowments the CSAF meets the needs of teachers and students.
