Alumni basketball game pits youth against ‘oldies’

The Carrollton High School boys and girls basketball teams will take on alumni of the programs later this month.
Both Warrior teams completed successful seasons this past season. Both advanced to the sectional title games. the boys team lost only four games all season and the girls team posted the best record in the last several seasons, which looks to set a showdown of the youth against alumni from the program.
The games are part of the Warriors fundraising proram and will be held June 30 at 6 p.m. in the high school gym. The girls game will be played first,followed by the boys game. Admission is by donation.
Girls and boys youth hoopers are invited to participate in pre-game and halftime shooting games.
A concession stand will be available.
