“The Carroll County Board of Trustees works very hard to strengthen our communities and provide opportunities for our young people,” said Trevor Kirkpatrick, organization director for the Carroll County Farm Bureau. “We are very thankful for OSU Extension and the Carrollton Livestock Auction for being so willing to partner with us. We are excited to give kids an opportunity to excel in their livestock projects and prepare them to be successful at the county fair this summer.”
The event will open with a welcome followed by each species having a separate session focused on the basic knowledge of each species. All participants will be able to attend as many sessions as they would like.
Lunch will be available for purchase. During the lunch break, Quality Assurance stations will be available.
