Carroll in top five counties for opening day deer totals

Hunters across Ohio checked 26,667 white-tailed deer Dec. 2 during the opening day of the weeklong gun hunting season, according to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) Division of Wildlife. Speakman resigns, search underway for new Minerva football coach

A search is underway for a new football coach at Minerva High School following the resignation of Tim Speakman. Speakman, who led the Lions the past three seasons, won one game and lost 29. The win came in the 2004 season against St. Thomas Aquinas. The coach listed his reason for resigning as wanting more time with his family. Thanksgiving Day crash claims life of Malvern graduate

The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a Thanksgiving Day crash that killed a 2024 graduate of Malvern High School. According to Lt. Burns named JFS director

 Jennifer Burns has been named director of Carroll County Job and Family Services (JFS), succeeding longtime director Kate Offenberger.
