Floyd Emerson Cox, 83

Floyd “Sonny” Cox, 83, of East Rochester died on Monday May 13, 2024.  He was born on April 18, 1941, to the late Paul and Bertha Cox. He was a quiet man who enjoyed working on his farm and spending time with his family. He married Patricia M. Cox on December 20, 1990 and she passed away in 2006. 2018 CHS graduate recommended to fill head girls basketball coach position

A 2018 Carrollton High School graduate has been recommended as the next head coach for the school’s girls basketball program. The Athletic Committee announced this morning Mikayla Poole will be recommended to the board of education. The hiring is expected to be on the June 11 school board agenda.
