Committee recommends hiring of Storm Hill as next CHS football coach

The Carrollton High School (CHS) Athletic Committee is recommending Carrollton native Storm Hill to the Carrollton Schools Board of Education to be hired as the next head football coach.

He replaces Jim Tsilimos, who spent five seasons with the Warriors.

Hill’s hiring will be on the agenda at the Jan. 9 school board meeting.

 Coach Hill is a 2005 graduate of CHS where he lettered and was a captain in both football and baseball. After high school, he attended The Ohio State University, before transferring to Walsh University. At Walsh, Coach Hill played defensive back for the Cavaliers, under the direction of legendary coach Jim Dennison. He graduated from Walsh with Magna Cum Laude honors, with a master’s degree in Educational Leadership and a degree in Middle Childhood Education.

He brings 14 years of coaching experience to the Warrior staff. He has served as the defensive coordinator for the Warriors for the past eight seasons.

Hill teaches at Carrollton Middle School. He and his wife, Meghan, have two sons, Owen ,7, and Harrison, 5.
