Shawn P. Green, 47

Shawn P. Green, 47, of Carrollton, passed away unexpectedly in his home on Wednesday, March 6, 2024.

He was born on March 26, 1976, in Canton, Ohio to Darlene (Green) Eidson.

Throughout his life, Shawn enjoyed fishing, spending time outdoors, cooking out for family and friends, and singing.  He will be remembered for his love for telling jokes and his infectious laughter.  Shawn had the biggest heart, always giving generously to those in need, and he loved more than anything, spending time with his family.

Shawn is survived by his son, Austin Green; daughter, Jade Green; mother, Darlene (Mike) Eidson; grandmother, Cindy Green; three brothers, David Deem, Lester (Mickey) Deem, Christopher (Nichole) Green; sister, Trista Deem; companion, Nikki Biggs; two uncles, James (Jan) Green and Stanley Green; three aunts, Lisa Satterfield, Theresa Vitavec, and Tamara (Tim) Murphy; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jordan, and brother, Michael Green.

Funeral services will be held at Noon on Tuesday, March 12, at Dodds Funeral Home in Carrollton, Ohio. Burial will follow in Westview Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the time of services.
