Michael Thomas Ashton Jenkins, 62

Michael Thomas Ashton Jenkins (62) went to be with the lord on Sunday Oct. 8, 2023.
At the time of his passing, he was surrounded by the broken hearts of those who loved him. Mike fought hard for six months However Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease won the battle.
Mike attended South Range High School and graduated in 1979. He proudly served his country from 1980-1984 as a member of the United State Coast Guard. He was an electrician on the USCGC Courageous ship. Mike was employed at Wellsville School district at the time of his passing.
Mike was born to Thomas and Peggy Jenkins of Youngstown. OH.
Mike will be remembered as a hard worker. He took pride and paid attention to details and perfection. His family was his passion as he enjoyed “tinkering” on several projects.
His dream was to make life better for his loved ones, and he reached that goal many times over.
Mike leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife Rochelle (Ferguson) Jenkins, whom
he married July 18, 1992; his loving daughter, Emily (Jenkins) Donnalley, and his son-in-law, Shawn Donnalley; admiring grandchildren, Remi and Colson Donnalley. Their success and happiness, which he selflessly contributed to, was his greatest desire.
He is also survived by a sister, Christi Jenkins of CO; sister-in-law, Korena Ferguson; and brother-in-law, Shawn Ferguson; father Thomas Jenkins of Youngstown and the late Peggy (Fetters) Jenkins.
Our broken hearts will mend when we see you again. It’s not good-bye, it’s see you later.
