Kenneth Ray “Kenny” Jones, 73

Kenneth Ray “Kenny” Jones, 73, passed away Monday, March 4, 2024, at his home, with his loving wife by his side, after a lengthy illness.

   Born January 31, 1951, in Canton, he was a son of the late Ora D. Jones and Mary L. Foutty Jones. He was a mechanic at the Scio Pottery for many years before they closed in 1986 and next worked sign construction for Foster and Kleiser in North Canton.

   Kenny was a member of “The Pub Club” at the former Bob’s Pub in Scio. He enjoyed boating and fishing on Leesville Lake and just spending time with his friends and family, especially his beloved dog Suzy-Q.

   Kenny passed away on the 52^nd anniversary to the love of his life, Miki Hibbs Jones. He is also survived by daughter Angie (Brian) Perry of Rancho Cucamonga, CA and Tracy (Troy) Leggett of Bowerston; grandchildren Kayla (Shane) Morrell of Scio, Josh (Samantha) Leggett of Fairmont, WV and Brianna Perry of Rancho Cucamonga, CA; and siblings Fran Grogg-Calfy of New Rumley, Jeannie Kramer and Connie (Tom) Budinsky both of Carrollton and Keith (Janice) Jones of East Sparta.

   Preceding him in death are siblings Dale Jones, Shirley Foehrenbach, George Jones, Millie Downs, Velma Monk and Dottie Fray.
