Donald L. Hildreth, 71

Donald L. Hildreth, 71, of Mechanicstown, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 11, 2024 in his home.

Born on November 29, 1952, in Salineville, Ohio, he was a son of the late Charles W. and Pauline V. (Fulmer) Hildreth.

Donald was loved by everyone who knew him. He was a man of many words. He was a wrestler at Carrollton High school. He owned his own cable business then moved into trucking. Donald spent his life taking care of his mother and everyone around him. He loved his Ohio State football team!!  

Don is survived by his two brothers, Jim Burns and Charles Hildreth; one sister, Christine Bragg; and nieces, Tracy Flack and Jenny Toth; nephew, Charlie Hildreth, along with many other nieces and nephews and his two dogs, Daisy and Ladie. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Howard and Ted Wright, and one sister, Gloria Wright.  

Per Don’s wishes, there will be no formal services and cremation has taken place. Dodds Funeral Home assisted the family with services.
