Darlene R. Chowning, 64

Darlene R. Chowning, 64, of Carrollton, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 19, 2023, at Aultman Hospital in Canton, Ohio.

A daughter of Richard Harris and Sandra Dodson, she was born on Sept. 30, 1959, in Bedford, Ohio.   

She was a kind soul that lived to help others; her door was always open to anyone in need. No matter what she was going through, she would find a way to make you smile. Her joy in life came through the happiness of others. She loved to do whatever people said she couldn’t do. She always found a way to achieve the impossible. Her favorite things to do were to go for a drive, work on her home, or spend time with friends and family.

Darlene is survived by her two sons, William and Stanley Zack.

A graveside service was held in Perrysville Cemetery. Dodds Funeral Home assisted the family with services.
