Gunnar Burgett, Bonnie Graham named CHS Students of the Month

Gunnar Burgett and Bonnie Graham are Carrollton High School’s November students of the month. 

Gunnar is the son of Phililip and Jody Burgett, of Carrollton. He has one brother, Tucker, and two sisters, Jolana and Josie. 

Burgett plays football and is involved in 4-H. He enjoys most of his free time hunting. In the future he plans on studying animal science to become a veterinarian. 

What teacher, coach, family member or special friend has influenced Burgett and why? “My parents have influenced me the most because they are both great role models and have inspired me in many ways.”

What advice can you give for success in life? “Work hard and do what you enjoy.”

Bonnie Graham is the daughter of Doug and Roxie Graham. She has one sister and is involved in chamber chorus, school musicals, plays and Mentors.

Hobbies include trying to write several books. Graham plans on attending Kent State Tuscarawas Campus and despite being unsure about career plans, she has a dream of being a librarian. 

What teacher, coach, family member or special friend has influenced Graham and why?

“Mom because she helped me with ideas for colleges and careers.”

What advice can you give for success in life?

“Take it all one step at a time.”
