Minerva village and Chamber officials, customers, family, and friends celebrated the opening of The Komfort Zone with a ribbon cutting June 14.
Owned by Ashleigh Kramer and located at 204 N. Market St., The Komfort Zone offers premium ice cream, freshly made baked goods, chocolates and novelty candy.
Village and Minerva Area Chamber of Commerce officials were on hand for the ribbon cutting, and Chamber Board of Directors President Bill Patterson congratulated Kramer and her family, saying, “It’s not easy to open up a business. It takes a lot of courage, and not everyone can do it.”
Mayor Tim Tarbet thanked the Kramers for opening a business in Minerva.
“I’ve lived here all my life, and there’s no more exciting time than when you see someone start out with a new business, a new idea, a new dream, and make it a reality,” Tarbet said. “I want
to tell you on the village’s behalf, thank you for trusting us to open up here. We want to be
here to encourage you and help you in any way we can.”
The Komfort Zone is open Thursday, 3-8 p.m., Friday, 3-9 p.m., Saturday, 11 a.m.-9 p.m., and Sunday, 11 a.m.-6 p.m.
