Local weightlifter sets national mark

Several area weightlifters recently competed in the World Raw Federation competition.

Dustin Kempf set national records for the Open Abs 165 lbs. Sub Master with the following: Squat, 540 lbs.; bench 308 lbs.; deadlift, 600 lbs.; for a total of 1,448 lbs.

Mike Buckey won first in the 198 lbs. open. His results were: Squat, 606 lbs.; bench 308 lbs.; deadlift, 672 lbs.; for a total of 1,586 lbs.

Nick Perorazio set national records in the teen 18-19 years old 148 lbs. with the following: Squat, 457 lbs.; bench, 262 lbs.; deadlift, 501 lbs.; for a total of 1,220 lbs.

The group trains at All In Training, located on 2nd St. SW in Carrollton.
