Lois Hilliard, 92, of Carrollton, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 29, 2022, at the Carroll Golden Age Retreat in Carrollton, Ohio. A daughter of the late Earl J. and Ethel F. (Walters) Mandley, she was born on Jan. 17, 1930, in Minerva, Ohio. Lois was a resident of Carrollton for over 70 years, graduating from Carrollton High School.  She retired from the Carroll Healthcare Center as an LPN.  Lois was an avid

Walter B. Shaver, 93, of Carrollton, passed away Saturday morning Oct. 1, 2022 with his family by his side. A son of the late Walter B. and Lottie Felton Shaver, he was born Dec. 24, 1928, in Rowlesburg, West Virginia. During the Korean War, Walter served in the Army as a tank operator. Following his discharge from the Army he worked in Alaska as a coal miner for two years.

David Johnson “Homer”, 70, of Carrollton, passed away while fishing at their camper in southern Ohio. Dave was born in Gauley Bridge, W.Va, son of the late William and Helen Simono Johnson. Dave retired due to declining health in 2015 after owning and operating Johnson’s Drywall for 40 years. Tammy Elizabeth Lewis, 53, of Canton died Sept. 24 in her home. She was born Aug. 20, 1969, to the late Linda (McLean) Lewis and Larry D. Lewis. She grew up in the Carrollton and graduated from Carrollton High School. After graduation she moved to the Malvern area and recently moved to Canton. Survivors include her daughter, Whitney Hartshorne of Canton; a son, Hayden Miller of East Canton; and several
