Lois Hilliard

Lois Hilliard, 92, of Carrollton, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 29, 2022, at the Carroll Golden Age Retreat in Carrollton, Ohio.

A daughter of the late Earl J. and Ethel F. (Walters) Mandley, she was born on Jan. 17, 1930, in Minerva, Ohio.

Lois was a resident of Carrollton for over 70 years, graduating from Carrollton High School.  She retired from the Carroll Healthcare Center as an LPN.  Lois was an avid dog lover and helped establish Hilliard Farms in 1962 with her family.

She is survived by three children, Bruce, Ed, and Patricia “Pat”; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and sister, Charlotte DeVore. Along with her parents, Lois was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Clyde Hilliard, in 2003, and brother, Earl Mandley.

Per Lois’ wishes, there will be no services held.

Dodds Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
