Ulman is student of month at BCC

Devan Ulman was named the Adult Education Student of the Month for December at Buckeye Career Center (BCC).

A graduate of Carrollton High School and BCC, he is enrolled in the Welding Technology program. Outside of school, Ulman is a trustee at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church and a 4-H volunteer. He hopes to eventually own his own welding company.

Ulman was nominated by his instructor, Marvin Menefee. “Devan has great work ethic. He works hard, shows up on time and is always willing to help,” said Menefee.

Along with Ulman, Addison Guy of Newcomerstown, a student in the Introduction to Nursing program, and Skye Wissman of Indian Valley, a Project Lead the Way/Engineering student, were named students of the month.

The three were recognized during the BCC December board meeting.
