Tucci, Bowe earn All-Ohio track honors

Sandy Valley senior Lexi Tucci captured the Division III high jump state championship last weekend in Dayton. 

The win comes a year after Tucci was forced to sit out with an injury. She jumped 5-feet, six-inches to win the title. She followed the fete up with a second place in the long jump with 18-8.75. She earned All-Ohio Status in both events. 

The 18 points she put on the scoreboard placed the Cardinals in 8th place overall at the championships. 

Teammate Alaina Heller competed in the 200M but did not qualify for the finals. 

Malvern freshman Parker Bowe made his first trip the high school championships a memorable one by placing fourth in the Division III discus with a throw of 170.07, a personal best, to earn All-Ohio honors. and 11th in the shot put (51-04.5).

Division II

Minerva athletes Katie Ison and Gabby Lupshu competed in the Division II 3200M. Ison placed 11th and Lupshu 18th. The Lions 4×800 relay team of Katie Ison, Hannah Ison, Annabelle Crissman and Kayla Crissman placed 15th.
