Three Lady Warriors earn pins against Aviators

The Carrollton girls filled only five weight classes but made the most of the opportunity when they traveled to Alliance Jan. 18 to take on the Aviators. The Warriors won three of the five by pins while the hosts won the other two by pin. Izzy Nuzzolillo won the 100 lb. class with a pin in 2:17 to kick off the match. Kailey Delawder (170) picked up a pin in 41 seconds. In a battle of Top Gun champions, Carrollton freshman Riley Alborn took down Chacara Tackett and pinned her 18 seconds into the match at 235 lbs. Alliance picked up points for nine forfeits and won the match 66-18.
