Mt. Zion Church hosting National Day of Prayer events May 7

Mt. Zion Church will host two National Day of Prayer events May 7.
A drive-in service begins at 4:30 p.m. where local pastors will speak on prayer points and lead in prayer as visitors remain in their vehicle.
Leading the service will be Pastor John Carpenter, Kathleen Horn, Pastor Chuck Wilson, Pastor Harley Wheeler, Gary Bishop, Frances Mahmound and Christine McLean.
An evening worship service will follow at 6 p.m. Josh Davis will open the worship concert.
Other musicians scheduled to perform include Cheryl Hardgrove, Tim Cashen, Michael Gardner, Betty Huff, Pianist Nancy Hillyer, Come as You Are Women’s Bible Study, Christine McLean and youth singers.
The theme for National Day of is “Pray God’s Glory Across the Earth.” Scripture for the event is Habakkuk 2:14.
The church is located at 2004 Bellflower Rd., Minerva.
