A number of Buckeye Career Center students are advancing to the Ohio HOSA Future Health Professionals State Leadership Conference in March following success at regionals.
Students from Carrollton and Conotton Valley were among those competing Jan. 22 in the regional competition at Massillon Perry High School.
First place recipients include Colette Brown (Exercise Science/Conotton Valley) in Nutrition; Myra Davis (Intro to Nursing/Carrollton) in Medical Terminology; and Chloe Stuber (Exercise Science/Conotton Valley) in Behavioral Health.
Second place recipients include Jordyn Braun (Exercise Science/Conotton Valley) in Researched Persuasive Writing and Speaking; and Adam Walker (Exercise Science/Conotton Valley) in Epidemiology.
The students will compete at the HOSA State Leadership Conference March 24 and 25 in Columbus.
