Dec. 17 – Choir concert- junior high begins at 6 p.m.; high school at 7 p.m. in the auditorium. Free event. Donations accepted. Selections include “I’ll Be Home for Christmas”, “Stars I Shall Find”, “Hava Natshira” and more.

Dec. 15 – “Santa Claus is Coming to Town” around 6:30 p.m. at the Great Trail Fire Dept. North Station, 120 W. Water St., Malvern. Santa will be escorted through town in a small parade of fire trucks to the fire station. The drive-thru visit will include treat bags.
Dec. 17 – Christmas Magic Story Time at Malvern Branch Library from 10:30-11:30 a.m. For ages 6 and younger. Stories, crafts and games. For info, call 330-863-0636. The library is located at 710 E. Porter St., Malvern.
Dec. 18 – Elementary Elf School at Minerva Public Library 12-1:30 p.m. Make a pinecone tree, taste test cookies and more. Geared for ages K-4th grade. Under age 10 must be accompanied by an adult.
Dec. 19 – “O Holy Night” is a special Christmas Journey production at 5:30 pm. This special vesper service will begin in the outdoor chapel and continue to the stable. Luminaries and lanterns will help light the way. The Journey is located on the wooded grounds of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, 5230 Arrow Rd., Minerva. 7 p.m. – Traditional service at The Yellow Brick Church, 253 S. Lisbon St., Carrollton, at 7 p.m. Music led by chancel choir.
