Around the county…

Mondays – Lunch 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. by donation at the Warren Twp. Community Center on SR 212 in New Cumberland.  The Loft Resale Shop is open 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.   

June 11 – Liberty Bridge playing a mix of 60s & 70s music at Tall Timbers Resort, New Philadelphia, 7:30-10:30 p.m. Features Jerry Tinlin, Joe Dimario, Donnie Borland and Vince Carter.

June 12 – The Bergholz Area Museum will be open 12-3 p.m.  Located at 268 2nd St.,it features history and memorabilia related to area  businesses, schools, mines and the surrounding communities in Jefferson County.

June 12 – Free gospel music concert by Kaleb Kibble at Perrysville United Methodist Church at 6 p.m. A love offering will be received.

June 14 – Suburban Garden Club picnic and plant exchange at Bluebird Farm Park at 6 p.m. Bring a covered dish and chair. 

June 14 – Dellroy American Legion 475 meeting at 8 p.m. at Dellroy Fire Dept.

June 15 – Dance Nite at Loudon Twp. Community Center, SR 9 in Kilgore. Doors open at 5 p.m., dance 6-9 p.m., open mike. Donation at door. 50/50. Coffee & punch provided. Bring own table snacks. Call Pixie at 330-323-0623 for info. Handicapped accessible.    

June 17 – Joe Doe in concert at Bluebird Farm Park Amphitheatre on Alamo Rd., Carrollton, at 7 p.m. $8 per vehicle. Bring lawn chair or blanket. No outside food or beverage permitted. 

June 18 – “Wood you like it?” Show-Sale-Demo at the Carroll County Arts Center 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Anyone interested in wood carving, can attend and view demonstrations and more. Light refreshments and music. 

June 18 – Liberty Bridge playing a mix of 60s & 70s music at Gameday Tavern, Strasburg, 7-10 p.m.           

June 25 – Ladies Tea on the McCook House Lawn at 10 a.m. Followed by croquet for interested parties. Reservations required by calling 330-627-3345 or 330-437-9715.
