April 30 – The Conotton Valley Alumni Assn. will meet for its regular monthly meeting at 9 a.m. at the Bowerston Library. All alumni are welcome!

May 5-7 – Village wide garage sales in Minerva.

May 6 – Carrollton High School Alumni Hall of Fame banquet at 6 p.m. in the commons area at CHS followed by the induction ceremony in the Performing Arts Center. Advance tickets are $35 per person for those not members of the Alumni Foundation or $30 per person for members. May 7 – Community Breakfast at Loudon Twp. Community Center on SR 9 in Kilgore from 7:30 – 10 a.m.  By donation. May 13 – Apple Blossom Time watercolor class with Lynda Rimke 6:30 – 9 p.m. at the Carroll County Arts Center. Learn to paint wet, stormy backgrounds and spring trees that stand out against the sky. Cost is $35. Call 330-627-3739 to register.
