Thomas B. Courtright, 54, of Bolivar, Ohio, passed away Jan. 4, 2024, after a short battle with cancer.
Raised in Carrollton, Ohio, Tom graduated from Carrollton High School before attending Akron University with a degree in finance. He was employed by Wayne Savings Community Bank.
Tom was an avid golfer and sports enthusiast; he loved his Cleveland Browns football most of all.
He was a son of Kay Davies Courtright of Strasburg and the late Tad B. Courtright, who passed in August of 2023.
Surviving him are his wife, Marissa; brother, Dan (Julie) Courtright; sister, Christine Murphy; stepsons, Kyle and Kenneth Winland; his loving nieces, Kayla Murphy, Madison Courtright, Morgan (Jamie) Montero; and his grandchildren, whom he loved dearly, Tristen, Mylan, Jace, Lydia, Luca, and Aurora.
A visitation celebrating Tom’s life will be held Thursday, Jan. 11, from 4-6 p.m. at Dodds Funeral Home of Carrollton. In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place, and his remains will be scattered in Key West, Florida.
