Thelma R. Cassidy, 99, of Carrollton, passed away on Friday, March 17, 2023 in her home.

Born on January 6, 1924 in Elizabethton, Tennessee, she was a daughter of the late George W. and Hazel N. (Bunton) Greer.

Throughout her life, Thelma enjoyed traveling, taking photographs, and playing the piano.

Thelma is survived by her daughter, Julie (Daniel) Morsheiser; daughter-in-law, Mary Ann Dugger; seven grandchildren, Taylor Imes, Jordan Morsheiser, Dalton Morsheiser, Cheyenne Morsheiser, Cheri (Jeff) Mayfield, Teri (Bret) Ray, and Lisa (Todd) Miller; 6 great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; and brother, James Greer.

She was preceded in death by her son, Larry Dugger, and two brothers, Claude and Ralph Greer.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at Westview Cemetery in Carrollton.
