Thelma M. Mosier of Carrollton, Ohio was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She passed away peacefully on Aug. 31, 2023, at the age of 94. She was surrounded by her loving family.
Thelma was born in Carrollton, Ohio, in 1929. She was the daughter of the late Raymond and Mary Blazer and she grew up in a tight-knit community. On September 15th, 1951 Thelma married the love of her life, Fred W. Mosier. Their union was a testament to love, commitment, and enduring devotion. Fred preceded Thelma in death, and their enduring love story continues in the hearts of their family and friends.
Thelma is survived by her loving daughter, Cheryl (Mosier) Hunter, and son-in-law Ray Hunter, who were not only her caregivers but her pillars of strength throughout her life. Her son, Eric Mosier, and daughter-in-law Donna Mosier, also survive her, bearing the legacy of her kindness and resilience. Thelma’s greatest joy in life came from her role as a grandmother. She leaves behind three cherished granddaughters, one adored grandson, and one beautiful newborn great-grandson. Her love and wisdom have left an indelible mark on their lives, and they will forever treasure the memories spent with her.
Thelma Mosier’s final resting place will be at Westview Cemetery in Carrollton, Ohio, where she will be reunited with her beloved husband, Fred. Thelma will be remembered for her warm smile, her unwavering love, and her enduring spirit. She touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. The family would like to express their gratitude to the medical professionals and caregivers who provided exceptional care and comfort during Thelma’s final days. Thelma Mosier’s life was a testament to love, family, and the enduring bonds that connect generations.
