Robert Dale “Bobby” Tipton, 63, died Sept. 1, 2020, at home.

Born June 19, 1957, in Canton, he was a son to the late Floyd and Jean Tipton.

He was employed by Guess Motors. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family, drag racing and collecting toy tractors. He was a graduate of Carrollton High School Class of 1977.

He is survived by two daughters, Angie Tipton and Sarah Jean Tipton, both of Carrollton; a brother, Jeff (Darla) Tipton; a sister, Vicki (Dave) Whitmer of Carrollton; a niece, Ashley (Steve) Franks and a nephew, Devin Tipton.

Graveside services were held at Westview Cemetery in Carrollton.

Dodds Funeral Home assisted with arrangements.
