Patricia Boone, 95

Patricia Boone, 95, of Amsterdam, passed away Monday afternoon Oct. 24, 2022 at Valley Hospice in Steubenville.

A daughter of the late Edward and Corah Ball O’Toole, she was born April 10, 1927, in Sarasota, New York.

Patricia had worked as a dental assistant for Dr. Groman and was a library aide at John Gregg Elementary School. She was a very active member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and with the Catholic Women’s Club at the church. She was also a member of the McCook Bowling League. 

She is survived by her son, Michael (Rhonda) Boone; daughter, Michelle (Randy) Thompson; eight grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; twenty-three great grandchildren; and a great great grandchild. 

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank, in 2020, two daughters, Barbara Felton and Rosemary Hanlin, a grandson, Mikey Boone, a granddaughter, Karie Ann Felton, a brother and two sisters. 

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, Oct. 28, at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Amsterdam with Fr. Jack McCoy officiating. Burial will follow in Ft. Steuben Burial Estates. Visitation will be Friday from 9 a.m. until time of Mass in the church.
