Matthew Ryan Yeager, 34

Matthew Ryan Yeager of Canton, passed away on Sunday Dec. 8, 2024 at the young age of 34. He was born on May 28, 1990, in Steubenville, Ohio, to Ira and Dawn Beard. 

Matt had a love for nature and enjoyed tower climbing. He was a man of many talents, he was a phenomenal artist who loved to draw. He also enjoyed tinkering which is where he learned all he needed to know about electrical work and fixing vehicles. Matthew enjoyed helping anyone in any way he could, he truly loved his family and would have done anything for them. He worked at Ambaflex in Canton as a Laborer. 

Those left to cherish Matthew’s memories include his children, Neveaha and Zander Yeager; mother Dawn Beard; beloved girlfriend Laura Williamson; siblings Rebecca Yeager, Amanda (James) Miller, Amber Turell, Mason (Ellisa) Beard; numerous nieces and nephews and many loving family members.

Matt is preceded in death by his father Ira Beard; two infant sisters; niece Alysa Benedict; grandparents Robert and Gloria Clark. 

Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Friday Dec.13, 2-4 p.m. and 5-7 p.m. at the Allmon-Dugger-Cotton Funeral Home. Following services the family would like you to join them for an After Life Celebration held at the Carrollton Eagles.

Matthew wished to be cremated and have his remains lovingly planted as a tree, allowing his memory to live on through nature.
