Linda Mae Phillips, 74, of Carrollton, died at home, Friday evening, Dec. 8, 2023.

Born February 10, 1949, she was a daughter of the late Floyd and Erma Maple Haun.

She spent much of her time in the kitchen cooking, taking care of her family and loved playing cards. In 2010 she retired from Carroll County Transit.

She is survived by her husband, Walter Phillips, whom she married Aug. 28, 1976; two daughters, Michilyn (Brian) Hemming of Waynesburg and Jamie (Lyle) Phillips of Carrollton; and three grandchildren, Bri (Cam), Cooper (Shayla) and Jaden.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Janet Grunder.

At Linda’s request, a private graveside service was held at Westview Cemetery in Carrollton.

In lieu of flowers the family wishes donations be made in Linda’s name to Aultman Hospice, The Aultman Foundation, 2600 Sixth Street SW, Canton, OH 44710.

Dodds Funeral Home of Carrollton assisted the family with arrangements.
