Jaclynn Dawn Edie, 59, of Houston, TX, previously of Bowerston, passed away at her home in Houston Thursday, Sept. 23, 2021.

Born Dec. 30, 1961, in Chicago IL, she was the daughter of the late Marilyn Snair (Dimbleby) and Ken Snair.

Jackie was a long-time resident of the Bowerston-Perrysville area and is best known for operating the Perry Post Restaurant.

Jackie will be deeply missed by her surviving family which includes her children, Kenneth M. Edie (TX) and Tracy (Matthew) Carter (OK); grandchildren, McKenzie and Devon Fiester; brothers, Steve (Debbie) Browne (KY) and Mark Browne (AZ); sisters, Carol VanWyen (TX) and Melissa Landry (MI).

In addition to her parents, she was proceeded in death by her ex-husband, Gregory Allen Edie; grandparents, Doug and Gladys Dimbleby; and sister, Nancy Browne.

Services, officiated by Pastor Dixie Hendrick, will be held Saturday, Oct. 2 at 4 p.m. at Perrysville United Methodist Church located at 96 Amsterdam Rd SE, Scio, OH 43988. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until time of services.
