Ida Elizabeth Cumpson, 94, of Minerva, passed away Thursday, June 9, 2022, at St. Luke Lutheran Community of Minerva.

Born Dec. 29, 1927, in Canton, she was a daughter to Walter E. and Florence H. (Neff) Kropp.

Ida was of the Methodist faith. She worked as a cashier at the IGA and was a member of Minerva YMCA.

Ida is survived by one son, Richard (Mary) Lloyd of Massillon; three stepsons, Michael (Lucia) Cumpson of White Post VA, Douglas (Jessica) Cumpson of Lawrenceville GA, and Patrick Cumpson of Mentor; one daughter, Kaye Lloyd of Tampa FL; three stepdaughters, Kathleen (James) Crawford of Massillon, Carol (Butch) Lowery of Braselton, GA, and Connie (Rick) Robinson of Temple TX; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Ida was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Duane Cumpson; two stepsons, Danial Cumpson and Kevin Cumpson; and a stepdaughter, Peggy Bell.

Per her request, there will be no services.
