Dottie Ann Bechtel, 61, of Minerva, passed away at The Merriman Thursday, Oct. 14, 2021.

Born Nov. 22, 1959, in Canton, she was a daughter to Herbert William and Marjory Jean (Hannen) Burleson.

Dottie worked in the food service industry as a cook at Republic Steel and most recently at Kishman’s IGA.

Dottie is survived by her two sons: Daniel (Kaydin Krahling) Bechtel of Minerva and Josiah Bechtel of Easley, SC; and a daughter, Shiloh (Dusty Sickle) Bechtel of Canton.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Randy Burleson and William Burleson; and a sister, Peggy Sue Barnes.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Oct. 19, at 1 p.m. at Great Trail Community Church of God, 620 E. Line St., Minerva, with Pastor Ray Martin of Great Trail Community Church of God officiating. Burial will be at Heritage Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held Oct. 19 from 12 – 1 p.m. at Great Trail Community Church of God.
