Debra Kay Crislip, 65

Debra Kay Crislip, 65, of Malvern, peacefully passed away on January 27, 2024 at Aultman Medical Foundation. She was born on January 16, 1959, in Canton, the beloved daughter of Dean and Susan (Young) Brown.

Debra dedicated her life to her family as a loving homemaker. She found joy in caring for her loved ones and creating a warm and welcoming home for her husband and children.

In her leisure time, Debra found pleasure in exploring flea markets and discovering unique treasures. Her keen eye for hidden gems made each outing an adventure.

Debra is survived by her devoted husband of 47 years, Daniel Crislip, who stood by her side throughout their shared journey. She will be forever missed by her daughters, Miranda (Anthony) Vasilliu and Danielle (Jesse) Patterson. Debra’s memory will also be cherished by her grandchildren: Clayton, Anthony (Katelin), Dakota, Noah, Devon, and Nathan, as well as her great-grandchildren: Olive, Opal, and Grayson.  Debra also leaves behind two brothers:  Mark Brown and Paul Brown.  Although she has left this world, her memory will be kept alive in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, Debra was preceded in death by her sister, Margaret; and her brother, David.

A funeral service in honor of Debra’s life will be held on Friday, February 2, 2024, at 11 a.m. at the Deckman Bartley Funeral Home, located at 434 West Main Street, Malvern, Ohio. Celebrant Kevin O’Brien will officiate the service. Following the service, she will be laid to rest at Bethlehem Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on the same day, Friday, Feb. 2, from 10-11 a.m. at the Deckman Bartley Funeral Home. This will provide an opportunity for friends and loved ones to pay their respects and offer support to the grieving family.
