Charlotte L. Crowl, 91

Charlotte L. Crowl, 91, of Carrollton, died Thursday, Feb. 2, 2023, at the Truman House in New Philadelphia after a short illness.

She was born on April 29, 1932, in Winston-Salem, NC, to the late Ernest C. and Marry Boddie West.

Charlotte is survived by her step-daughter, Wilda Webb; cousin, Helen (Charles) Leggett Candea, and dear friends Marsha Logan, Kris Kampfer, Vi Smith, and many others.  Preceding her in death, along with her parents, were her husband, Carl T. Crowl and a brother, Ernest West, Jr.  Charlotte was also a descendant of late William Henry and Benjamin Harrison, whom both served as President of the United States of America.

 A graveside memorial service will be held Friday, April 28 at 1 p.m. in Westview Cemetery in Carrollton with Rev. Kimberly Arbaugh officiating.
