UPDATED ELECTION RESULTS (issues)

Two countywide levies and several village, township and school levies were on the Nov. 2 ballot.

Updates results with 5,096 ballots counted are as follows:

Countywide Levies:

•Golden Age Retreat Replacement Levy: 1.4mills for 5 years, beginning with tax year 2022, first due in calendar year 2023: 3,438 for, 1,591 against.

•Carroll County Park District: New .2 mill levy for 10 years for the purpose of improving, maintaining and preserving parks, beginning with tax year 2021, first due calendar year 2022: 2,111 for, 2,819 against.

Village Levies:

Magnolia: Renewal of a 2-mill levy for current expenses for five years, commencing in tax year 22022, first due in calendar year 2023: 27 for, 10 against.

Magnolia: Renewal of a 3.5-mill levy for current expenses for five years, commencing in 2022, first due in calendar year 2023: 27 for, 9 against.

Magnolia: Renewal of 4-mill levy for the police department for five years, commencing in 2022, first due in calendar year 2023: 29 for, 8 against.

Township Levies:

Fox: Renewal of a 1.5 mill, five-year levy for fire protection, commencing in 2022, first due in calendar year 2023: 144 for, 28 against.

Orange: Renewal of a .4-mill five-year levy for current expenses, commencing in 2022, first due in calendar year 2023: 158 for, 73 against.

Perry: Renewal of a .5-mill, five-year levy for current expenses, commencing in 2022, first due in calendar year 2023: 172 for; 77 against.

Perry: Renewal of a 1-mill, five-year levy for fire protection, commencing in 2022, first due in calendar year 2023: 173 for, 74 against.

Union: Renewal of a .7-mill, five-year levy for fire protection, commencing in 2022, first due in calendar year 2023: 209 for, 68 against.

Rose: Replacement of a 1-mill, five-year levy for fire protection, commencing in 2022, first due in calendar year 2023: 162 for, 124 against.

Rose: Renewal of a 2.69-mill, five-year levy for roads, commencing in 2022, first due in calendar year 2023: 179 for, 108 against.

School Levies

Minerva: Renewal of a 6-mill, five-year levy for emergency requirements for 10 years, commencing 2022, first due in calendar year 2023: 243 for, 163 against.

Sandy Valley: Renewal for a levy for $750,000 (to average 3.3-mills) for emergency requirements of the school district for five years, commencing in 2022, first due in calendar year 2023: 107 for, 127 against.
