Thirty-two new members inducted into CHS National Honor Society

Thirty-two new members were inducted into the Carrollton High School National Honor Society (NHS) Nov. 24 in the high school Performing Arts Center.

NHS officers welcomed parents and members, and Dave Davis, high school principal, presented opening remarks. NHS President Rebecca Stoneman gave a description of the emblem and introduced the other officers. Secretary Jacob Baker spoke about character. Vice President Cailyn Bright spoke on leadership. Historians Hailey Edie and Emma Bodo spoke on service and scholarship, respectively.

New members include: Camryn Barker, Clint Brackin, Josie Burgett, Jaden Cook, Jessi Cramer, Torryn Cross, Kellyn Harsh, Caydence Hartman-Shultz, Lindsay Hendon, Maya Keyser, Erin King, Troy Lane, Kaylee Leggett, Grace Leslie, Evan Lewis, Olivia Lindenbaum, Kendall Mallarnee, Elizabeth McNutt, Darick Miller, Henry Moore, Pheobe Moore, Tara Oberlin, Masyn Ohler, Gage Poole, Lucy Pridemore, Justin Richardson, Domanick Speelman, Daniel Stephenson, Talen Timberlake, Parker Varney, Ryan Worth and Kara Zacapala-Diaz.

Current members were introduced by Advisor Angie Miller. They include: Jacob Baker, Gustav Barnes, Emma Bodo, Tessa Bodo, Elizabeth Brown, Brandon Brown, Cailyn Bright, Aaron Clark, Faith Dillon, Hailey Edie, Ashlynn Frabel, Madeline Hoogstraten, Mary Keane, Abby Laizure, Ella Little, Elijah Lutton, McKinzie Mitchell, Autumn Riggenbach, Nichole Rummell, Thomas Rutledge, Jocelyn Sellers, Erin Shockey, Rebecca Stoneman, Justin Thompson, Devin Tipton, Joseph Ulman and Luke Warner.

Musical selections were provided by the Chamber Chorus.
