Taylor named Buckeye CC adult student of the month

Aubrey Taylor was named January Adult Education student of the Month at Buckeye Career Center. Taylor is a student in the Dental Assisting program.

The Dellroy resident is a 2023 graduate of Carrollton High School and BCC and is employed at Hennis Care Centre and Kafri Premier Endodontics. 

Taylor took the Intro to Nursing program while in high school at BCC and decided to broaden her career opportunities through the Dental Assisting program. Instructor Crystal Polen nominated her for the honor.

“Aubrey is an outstanding student and is always prepared. She also recently secured employment in the dental field,” said Polen. Following graduation, Taylor plans to keep working as a dental assistant while continuing her education to become an expanded functions dental assistant.

Taylor and two. high school students of the month were recognized by the Buckeye Career Center Board of Education at the January meeting.
