Rininger, King named students of month

Seniors Douglas Rininger and Erin King were named Carrollton High School December Students of the Month.
Rininger is the son of Gary Rininger and Tiffany Taylor of Carrollton.
He was a member of the Warrior football team and enjoys weightlifting.
He is undecided where he will attend college but wants to major in Education and become a teacher, with a minor in Sports Management.
Who has influenced him?
“Coach Wood. He pushed me to be the best at everything I do,” Rininger said.
His advice for success in life? “Always give 100 percent no matter what you are doing. Also, be patient. Good things come to those who wait.”
King is the daughter of Wes and Christina King of Carrollton. She has an older brother, Connor, a junior at The Ohio State University.
She was a member of the Warriors volleyball, basketball and track teams, the Caring Helping Sharing Club, Youth-to-Youth and student council. She is vice president of National Honor Society. She attends Mt. Pleasant Church and is a member of the youth group.
King plans to attend Mount Vernon Nazarene University to become a doctor.
Who has influenced her?
“Many have, but my parents have especially,” she said. “My mom is the kindest person I know, and I attribute my work ethic to my dad.”
Her advice for success in life: “Develop a relationship with Christ, always work hard and treat others with respect.”
