Schaar, Arbogast named CHS Most Outstanding Seniors

Adam Arbogast and Emily Schaar were named 2020 Carrollton High School (CHS) Most Outstanding Seniors.
The students were recognized during a virtual ceremony and presented awards when they picked up diplomas at the individual graduation ceremony. Winners were selected from the list of students of the month for the 2019-2020 school year.
Arbogast, the son of Bruce and Cindy Arbogast of Carrollton, was named September student of the month.
At CHS, he was active in National Honor Society, Chamber Chorus, Caring Helping Sharing (CHS) Club, French Club and Drama Club. He participated in plays and musical productions during his high school years.
He plans to attend Kent State University and major in history with the goal of becoming a high school teacher.
Schaar, the daughter of Andrew and LeeAnn Schaar of Sherrodsville, was named the December student of the month.
At CHS, she was active in CHS Club, French Club, CHS Drama Dept., choir and National Honor Society. She was a member of the Warrior soccer team and active in Youth-2-Youth.
She plans to attend Mount Union University.
