Scarecrows landing at Senior Center

The Carroll County Senior Friendship Center is hosting Scarecrows for Seniors at The Friendship Center during October.

Those wishing to create and display a scarecrow should pick up straw and stakes at the center, located at the county fairgrounds (N. Lisbon St), Oct. 2 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and complete a registration form. Call 330-627-7017 upon arrival for curb-side pickup.

Crows will be placed along the entrance road to the fairgrounds Oct. 9 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Oct. 10 from 9-11 a.m. Crows will be judged by county senior citizens.

All crows must be removed by Oct. 29 or they will be thrown away.
