Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose reminded Ohioans today that only a few hours remain to register to vote in the 2024 general election.

“If you’re not registered to vote by the end of today, you won’t be able to cast a ballot in what could be one of the most consequential elections of our lifetime,” said Secretary LaRose. “Any eligible Ohioan who’s a citizen of the United States can register until 11:59 p.m. tonight, and you can find everything you need to do that at VoteOhio.gov. If you don’t have internet access or prefer to fill out a registration form in person, every county board of elections, as well as my office in Columbus, is open until 9 p.m. this evening. In-person early voting begins tomorrow.”

To register online, voters will need to provide the following:

  • Ohio driver’s license or Ohio identification card number
  • Name
  • Date of Birth
  • Address
  • Last four digits of your Social Security number

If an individual lacks any portion of the information required to register online, a paper form can be found here. Once completed, the person must sign and deliver the completed form to their respective county board of elections before 9:00 p.m.
